2020 is going to be such a key year for us, both as a church body and in our own lives. Something is stirring and as we head to the 5 year mark as a church, God is calling us deeper than ever before.

This year is significant… our lives are significant… what we’ve seen so far is only a taste of what’s to come… he has blessing, purpose, miracles and salvation beyond what we could imagine! So as we begin this new decade he’s calling us to fast and pray… a sign of intention and a reflection of our heart.

We say, we want you Jesus more than anything else. Our 21 days of prayer and fasting begins this Monday the 6th of Jan to Sunday the 26th Jan. Let’s do it… together in Jesus we overcome!

At the start of a new decade, now is our moment.

  • Praying @vibe Mon-Fri (8pm to 9pm) week 1 and 2
  • Encounter week – 20th to 24th Jan 2020 (7.30pm to 9.30pm) week 3

We’d love you to join us… make sure to email in what you’re fasting and what fast you’re doing. Plus don’t forget to send your prayer requests too so we can all believe for breakthrough! Each day no matter where we are, we’re praying.

Fasting brings you into a deeper, more intimate and powerful relationship with God.

Why Fasting?

Fasting is a great way to seek God for a short season so He can fill us afresh.

Maybe you’re far from God, maybe you’re standing in the middle of a crisis with no answer. Jesus told his disciples some things only change with fasting and praying. Fasting is about denying yourself, taking yourself off the throne of your life and letting God be King.

Fasting is a choice, but it is also obedience. In Matthew 6, Jesus talks about three duties of every Christian: giving, praying and fasting. And He doesn’t use the word ‘if’, He uses the word ‘when’. You could choose not to fast this year, but why would you? Why would you choose to stay where you are when God has so much more for you?

“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
